Thanks for contributing to clearing that up.I will probably never know as much about Jon Erik as you do, but I've studied him quite a bit these last few months and I've thought a lot about him and I don't believe the Russian roulette thing either.Yeas ,he did a reckless thing I guess you could say but if he had been playing that game he would have had to pull the trigger at least twice(or it wouldn't be Russian roulette) and I don't think he'd ever try a thing like that for a "game".
I read that Jon-Erik was frustrated at the the time of his death because his career wasn't going the way he wanted it to but as you said he had everything to live for.
Even if he hadn't been successful in show business, I have no doubt that JK would have been a very successful person in life.He had that drive, determination and energy to make it so.
Sadly, since the Russian roulette rumor was widely reported at the time a lot of people will always think that's what happened when they come across his name or image. Not fair but then neither is his death.I know everybody that comes to your site wishes this but I wish he was still here.
If he was still alive he'd still only be 59, could have a long way to go yet if he was still here.
Thank you for all you've done to keep his life remembered and his memory alive.I think that JEK would be so happy and grateful you have done so.

Ellen, he was NOT playing Russian Roulette. Reports of that were from people wanting their 15 minutes of fame. Nor was he suicidal. People who TRULY knew him knew he wasn't. Nor was he a "ticking time bomb." All lies and stupid rumors. Even the police, in their report, ruled out the Russian Roulette rumor. Read "Jack's Story" on my site, follow the links to "Accident Facts" to gain a better perspective of what happened.

I'm sorry hon. I was mixing you up with someone else that contacts me on rare occasion. There was a note that's now gone? With Webs (the company that I have the website with), nothing surprises me anymore. LOL. Send me a note and I'd be happy to answer your questions and talk. ;)

To KC,
No, I don't know you personally.I just left a message on the guestbook one night about my feelings about Jon Erik back in Feb. and you left a very nice response the same night and I appreciated that and had been wanting to respond to your message.I used the same username of Sad all 3 times.Looking now on the guestbook,I no longer see your reply to my Feb.message so I guess nobody knows what I'm talking about now.
That's all.

I'm sorry, "Sad," but I really have no idea who you are, I do not recognize your email address. You must have me mistaken for someone else. Thank you for visiting my site and signing my guestbook. I see you have questions, but a guestbook really isn't the best place to have a discussion, it's pretty much meant to leave a few thoughts. You can email me at [email protected], and I'll be happy to answer your questions.

The first part of my message got cut off! Here it is.

Got your message not long after you wrote it and have wanted to reply but life kept getting in the way.
Actually,I myself don't think or feel that my thoughts, feelings or grief for Jon Erik is strange or unusual at all,but when I wrote that I was thinking of the perspective of some others out there.A lot of people might find it strange to grieve greatly for someone you never knew who died a significant amount of years ago but that doesn't bother me.

Jon Erik is definitely in my consciousness.I can honestly say there is not a day that goes by in which he doesn't cross my mind a time or two and I think it will always be that way now.

As my username says,I'm incredibly saddened by his death but I try not to think about it as much as I was back in the Winter because its just too heartbreaking but I do think I'll go through a period of mourning like that again at some point.
I miss Jon Erik being here.I sometimes think about how things would have been for him if he'd lived and I think he's one of those people who would have had a wonderful life.
i think he would have accomplished a lot more professionally and sometime married and had 3 or 4 children.
I have an image that goes through my head sometimes of a Jon Erik in his late 30's on a weekend ski trip to the California mountains with his kids and it's bittersweet.I don't know why that image came to me since it never happened. It just did.

I actually don't have a FB but I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.

Do you know why Cover up has never been released for sale on DVD or VHS and it seems unlikely it will be?

It seems strange since his other series came out that this one never has.I know he died during the making of it but I can't see that stopping Hollywood if there is money to be made and I think there would be off a release.

Did any belongings of Jon Erik's ever come up for auction or did his family keep everything?

Have any fans ever been inside his last house or the house he grew up in? I have seen pictures of both on the net of both so obviously people have driven by.
I know someone lives in his last house (not sure if they were the ones who bought it when he died or not). but some people are friendly about people coming by if they live where a celebrity once did.Of course others wouldn't be.
I read a memorial page by a photographer friend who said his house was cleaned out and put up for sale very quickly after he died and she would have liked to get something she gave Jon Erik back but didn't have a chance.

I was wondering if anybody knew what had happened to Jon Erik's Father?
I know his Dad gave up all rights to his estate as I think he should have done after walking out on him and his brother but I was just wondering what happened to him.I am sure he has passed away by now.

I have a few more questions but think I've asked enough now.
I hope you have time to reply.
